I am an Afro Caribbean cis-identified queer woman. My style is interactive, light, direct, educational, warm, full of deep dives, and at times, humorous.
My professional interests include helping people through life changes, trauma, abuse, anxiety, stress, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsions, relationship issues, and the everyday things we deal with as humans.
I am a proponent of the mind-body connection and believes that growth and healing occur with help from a combination of cognitive and emotional processing and physical awareness and observation. I believe in practicing efficacy-based, cutting-edge therapeutic techniques. I strive to be on top of my therapeutic game and loves to continue to research and learn to provide the best services I can for all of my clients.
I am professionally trained and certified to practice various therapeutic modalities. I am interested in and passionate about helping you connect all of who and what you are, and in helping you fit that into all the different parts of your life. I am a clinically trained psychotherapist who applies clinical hypnotherapy as a tool to help clients employ self regulatory strategies and to facilitate healing.
I use a highly experiential, mindfulness based, and client-centered approach in my work with individual/couple and groups. I offer therapy for all sexual orientations, gender, racial, and ethnic identities.
